About First Look Program:
NVRA is offering a new opportunity to increase exposure for new listings as an alternative to the Broker Open House program. Every week, NVRA will publish a First Look notification open to REALTORS® only.
Previously, members could submit a listing that was already on the MLS and hold a REALTOR® Open House on Thursdays each week. Notification of the open houses was sent on Tuesdays. Because many of these open houses got cancelled before they could even occur, NVRA has changed the format.
Per the Clear Cooperation Policy, NVRA members can advertise a upcoming listing to fellow REALTORS® 24 hours before the listing is input into the MLS. The NVRA First Look program capitalizes on that time frame: NVRA members are invited to hold a special open house every Wednesday.
How it Works:
NVRA members submit a First Look Open House to NVRA via THIS FORM.
NVRA sends an email notification to REALTORS® with First Look Open Houses at 9 AM on Wednesday.
First Look Open Houses held any time after 12 PM on that same Wednesday. These are NOT open to clients, only REALTORS®.
Official listing for the home goes up on Thursday.
Please note: If you are advertising a First Look Open House through NVRA, your listing MUST go live on the MLS within 24 hours of the advertisement. If the listing is not added to MLS the next day, the agent will not be permitted to participate in any additional NVRA First Looks and will be liable for consequences per PrimeMLS policies.
