FREE CE - Enhancing Accessibility in Real Estate: Serving Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deafblind Clients

Description

This 3-hour course equips real estate professionals with the knowledge and tools to effectively serve dear, hard of hearing, and deafblind clients (DHHDB Clients). With a focus on communication strategies, key terminology, and hands-on demonstrations of tools, the course aims to expand equitable access to real estate services and build an inclusive real estate practice. Instructor Laura Siegel serves as the Director of Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind Services for the State of Vermont within the Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living. In her role, she has undertaken diverse responsibilities, including consultation, referrals, and the provision of technical assistance. Her primary objective is to improve communication access across the state for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind community.
